Manaus historic center walk

Get to know the authentic culture of the “manauara”, its gastronomy, aromas and food by visiting the Mercado Adolpho Lisboa, Mercado do Peixe and Mercado da Banana.
Visit the Teatro Amazonas and let yourself be transported to a time of opulence when this was a world capital.

MUSA

It is an exhibition center where we can see different types of animals (snakes, spiders, scorpions, fish,…), as well as dinosaur fossils and species such as the crocodile or the giant sloth.

We can also climb to the top of a tower and observe the jungle from above the trees.

INPA

It is a center for the study and care of endangered species (otters, manatees, turtles,…) so that, once recovered, they can be reintroduced into nature. We can also observe animals in freedom here within this interurban reserve.

Walk to the Encontro das Aguas

Where the Rio Negro and the Solimões form the Amazon River and the Flutuating Community of Catalão, where you can feed and experience the strength of the largest freshwater fish, the “pirarucú”.

Visit to indigenous tribes

The “Kambeba”; an example of adaptation, progress and modernization while maintaining its roots (today it has some of the best educational centers in the Amazon).

The “Takuya”; a traditional and ancestral tribe (know their culture, customs and rituals).

Visit to Casa da Siringa

Transport yourself to the golden age of rubber to an old syringa plantation “fazenda” (tree from which latex was extracted to make rubber) and learn about its history.

Jungle excursion

In this privileged environment and with the help of our guide, observe and learn all the resources that the jungle offers us, refresh yourself and enjoy this experience (both day and night).

Native fauna

Piranha fishing: have fun fishing and savor a delicious piranha soup (highly valued in the region).
Focagem de “jacarés”: look for and observe the Amazon crocodiles (jacaré tinga and jacaré açú) at night.
Bathing with the “botos”: enjoy this magical experience and bathe with the pink dolphins of the Rio Negro.
