Puranga Flow Report

After the historic drought we had in the Amazon River in 2023, we were concerned about how this would affect the following year’s egg collection, as the drought could be of the same intensity or worse, so we made a large mobilization of researchers and chelonian specialists such as the training of new monitors to expand our area of operation so that we can collect more eggs to place in our incubator.

Thus, the report made by a local radio station shows the routine we follow to continue the investigation each year.
